Bosch Hydronic Air Handler AHU70 & AHU50 Discontinued

Global ProTankless Supply would like to announce that Bosch Thermotechnolgy has discontinued the Bosch Hydronic Air Handler Systems: AHU70 and AHU50. These systems were designed to be used in conjunction with the Bosch gas tankless water heaters.  The Bosch Hydronic Air Handler's were designed to replace furnaces with a ducted system, eliminating the need for a gas pipe, venting, and fresh air in-take required for furnaces.

CZM100 Zoning module for Bosch Greenstar Boilers Now Discontinued

Global Protankless Supply would like to announce that Bosch Thermotechnology is no longer supplying the CZM100 Zoning module 7738110112 for Bosch Greenstar Boilers.  The CZM100 is now discontinued due to the factory where these are made was in the Ukraine.

If you are looking for third party zone manager for the Bosch Greenstar boilers any brand third party control works. Taco, Honeywell, Tekmar, any brand that manages a boiler that has “dry contacts”. All condensing boilers in the USA have two “dry contact” terminals, so the connection is no different than anything else (Navien, Lochivar, NTI, all brands).

For multiple third party zone managers being used this would depend on the third party controllers. Some brands have 3, 5, 6, or more zone controls in a single box. Some will daisy-chain or cascade control boxes. That is up to that control manufacturer. We only need to get a signal on our terminals “TT” to energize or de-energize the boiler.

Phase-Out of Bosch Therm 830ES & 940ES Tankless Units in Canada

Bosch Thermotechnology would like to inform you of the phase-out of the
non-condensing gas tankless models 830 ES and 940 ES, in Canada.
This phase-out only applies to Canada (i.e. there are no changes to the
US product portfolio). 

Due to a regulation amending the 2016 Energy Efficiency Regulations

(Amendment 15, SOR/2019-164), which affects appliance efficiency

requirements, all non-condensing gas tankless models will be phased out in Canada. Therefore, Bosch Therm 830 ES and Therm 940 ES will

be phased-out as of December 31, 2019.  Spare parts for these tankless water heaters will still be available for sale in Canada.

The Bosch ProTankless 425 HN L (Liquid Propane) incorporates an evolutionary hydro-power ignition system which allows this tankless water heater to work without a standing pilot, grid connection or battery! A small turbine inside the water heater uses the energy from the flowing water to ignite the burner. The modulating gas valve then maintains a constant temperature at varying flow rates. This innovative technology, patented by Bosch, makes this an ideal product for installations without access to electricity or regions prone to inclement weather and power outages.

This 117,000 BTU/hr maximum input heater has enough power for running a shower and a sink simultaneously.  

This Bosch Pro Tankless water heater can be used as a replacement for any of the Bosch propane tankless water heaters that used the HydroGenerator, including the Bosch AquaStar 125HX LP, Bosch AquaStar 1600H LP and the Bosch Therm 520 HN L.
