The Bosch Tronic 6000 WH17 & WH27 electric whole house tankless water heaters are compact and powerful and can installed virtually anywhere inside the home. Advantages include endless hot water, reduced electricity costs and substantial space savings. The Bosch Tronic 6000C WH27 is the direct replacement for the Bosch Tronic 5000 C WH27 (45-557710, 45557710) and it also replaces the older Powerstream Pro RP27PT (45-551302, 45551302, 45-557702, 45557702) and the Bosch PowerStar AE125 (45-557701, 45557701, 45-551301, 45551301). Please note that the older Powerstream Pro RP27PT and the PowerStar AE125 electric tankless water heaters were 15.5 x 15.25 x 4.5 inches while the Bosch Tronic 6000 Model WH27 measures 12.5 x 15.25 x 4.5 inches, just like the Bosch Tronic 5000 WH27.

Installing Bosch Tronic 6000C WH17 & WH27 in Canada

Global Pro Tankless Supply is an Authorized Bosch Distributor for all Bosch gas and electric tankless water heaters.  The Bosch Tronic 6000C WH17 & WH27 are whole house electric tankless water heaters.  The Bosch WH17 & WH27 can be installed in Canada and are CSA approved.  For installation in Canada, a single electrical breaker is used.  For the Bosch Tronic 6000C WH17 it is required to use a single 80 amp breaker.  For the Bosch Tronic 6000C WH27 it is required to use a 120 amp breaker.  

For installation in Canada please keep in mind the temperature rise needed as the Bosch WH17 will produce a 45 degree temperature rise at 2.6 GPM and the Bosch WH27 will produce a 45 degree temperature rise at 4 GPM.  See the image below that shows the electrical terminal block for wiring in Canada.  Please refer to the installation manual for proper installation.
