Global Protankless Supply is now carrying the Bosch Greentherm External Recirculation Pump Cable Accessory #7736504585.  The external pump recirculation cable accessory is approved to be used with the new Bosch Greentherm T9800SE 199 & 160 indoor tankless water heaters.  This appliance has been designed to permit recirculation by controlling an external pump. For this function, the external pump must be electrically connected to the appliance.  Below is one approved recirculation application and for further information see the Bosch Greentherm T9800 SE 199 & 160 installation manual on page 35.

Greentherm T9800SE 160/199 Cable Accessory for External Recirculation Pump

The Bosch Greentherm T9800SE 160 and the Greentherm T9800SE 199 gas tankless water heaters have an optional cable accessory that enables the heater to be connected to an external pump for recirculation application.  Direct recirculation through the tankless water heater is permissible, however, the heat exchanger warranty is reduced to 3 years.

This appliance has been designed to permit recirculation by controlling an external pump. For this function, the external pump must be electrically connected to the appliance - Bosch Greentherm External Pump Cable Accessory (7736504585).  The external pump will be sized by a contractor for the size of the application.

Recirculation Pumps for New Bosch Greentherm 9000 Series Gas Tankless Water Heaters

Global Pro Tankless Supply is now carrying the new Bosch Greentherm 9000 series gas tankless water heaters.  The New Greentherm 9000 series heaters have many new features.  Some of the new 9000 series heaters such as the 9900i SE 199, 9900 SE 199 and the 9900 SE 160 indoor models  come with a built in recirculation pump.  The built-in recirculation pump is good for homes up to 2,000 sq ft that minimizes water waste waiting for hot water at the faucet and saves about 11,000 gallons per household per year!  All of the other 9000 series units have a plug on the bottom of the unit for an external recirculation pump to be installed.  Please refer to the installation manual and consult with your installer on sizing the proper pump for the correct size home.
