Bosch SST Stainless Steel Indirect Storage Tanks for DHW

The greenstar condensing space heating boilers are specifically designed for space heating only but can also be used for Domestic Hot Water (DHW) when they are piped to a Bosch SST Stainless Steel Indirect Storage Tank using a pump, aquastat and check valves.


Bosch SST Stainless Steel Indirect Storage Tanks for Domestic Hot Water come in four models ranging from 40 gallons up to 119 gallons:

• Bosch SST150-40 - 40 gallon storage tank; 115,000 Max BTUs
• Bosch SST250-65 - 65 gallon storage tank; 154,000 Max BTUs
• Bosch SST300-80 - 80 gallon storage tank; 171,000 Max BTUs
• Bosch SST450-119 - 119 gallon storage tank; 216,000 Max BTUs

SST, the new stainless steel line of domestic hot water indirect tanks, feature important enhancements such as a welded and passivated stainless steel tank and heat exchanger, and two-inch thick, high-density insulating foam with a tested R value of 13.4.


The Bosch SST Stainless Storage Tanks feature the following:

• 316L passivated stainless steel tank interior provides superior durability & longevity, offering resistance to the corrosive tendencies on domestic water
• 304L high capacity stainless steel coil efficiently transfers high volumes of BTU's from heat source to domestic water stored in the tank, making 1st hour delivery among the industry's best
• High density CFC/HCFC free polyurethane foam insulation yields the lowest stand-by losses in the industry
• State-of-the-art six axis programmable robotic welder uses computer guidance to accurately weld all stainless steel fittings and coil to the tank
